I suggest opening it as such.Ĥ4100 is the samplerate your computer will play back at. If you're having issues exporting with different samplerates, that is a separate issue. The issue author said that their issues were fixed in RC6. RC4 is old and does not have all the latest VST fixes so I do not see the purpose of testing this in RC4 as it does not relate to this issue. Thanks for everyone's approches on this issue so far :) I will keep testing some vsts and let you know when I find some weird things beside an uncompatible VST-Plugin.

you opened it Windows Media Player), RC6 will tell you that it can't get access to the file and then crash/ close without saying goodbye.īut I feel like the VST support improved a lot in RC6, even if The Anvil v3 by Ignite Amps, Neo Piano, Piano One, and Orchestral Strings (by Yichi Wang) still don't work in RC6. (Probably worth opening a new separate issue?)Īdditionally, I should mention that I found another bug of which I am not sure if it is known yet: When you try to overwrite an opened audio file (e.g. But the export parameteres always appeared a bit unsteadily to me and the results I got were always messed up. Increasing the quality did actually end up in messing up the pitch of the sound, but it was rather like 3 or 4 semitones higher than having a strange detune. So as a conclusion I can tell that SDL worked best for me, in both, RC6 and 1.13. Out of sheer curiosity I retested the same VSTs in 1.13 with using SDL and -oh wonder- the detune was gone. I exported some melodies and they had the same pitch as the daw's sound. Iowa Piano) which caused crashes when saving and reloading a project run now smoother and didn't cause crashes at all so far. So I tested some of the vsts which caused issues in 1.13 in RC6 and they seem to be vanished (aside from that I had some hassle with Port Audio, which doesn't exist in RC6 so I had to switch to SDL in 1.13 to make it start also see #4405 ). I had problems with DSK World StringZ, DSK SaxophoneZ and DSK Indian DreamZ, but since most of their VSTs are based on the same architecture, I guess that every DSK plugin is affected.

Nothing concerning this issue changed.īeing well aware that this issue is quite similar to #2085 I have to again highlight that only by exporting this issue appears, not in general.Ĭan anyone with WIndows 10 reproduce this problem? I also tried to mess a bit with the audio-settings of lmms and also with the export settings. I am using a USB Razer Kraken 2 but this isn't the cause since I had the same issues when I switched to headphones with a normal aux jack. LMMS 1.1.3 is installed on my C Drive, a SSD by Crucial (with enought room to breathe) I used FireBird for the melody part, which is uneffected by the off-tuning, MRTramp2 for the electric piano, which has the wrong pitch after exporting (just by like 11 cents, but you can easily hear it) and Juno6 vor some very silient background noise which was meant to support the percussions, but those last two aren't affected by the issue.ĪMD Ryzen 5 1600X Six-Core Processor 3.60GHz, 16GB RAM One I recorded with Audacity directely from the daw, and one with the exported file.

I remeber using them on Windows 8 and an older LMMS version without having this problem.įor a better understanding I'll add two soundfiles. Only certain VSTs are affected by this, as I already mentioned. While working with the plugins in the daw itself, everything sounded fine, but after exporting, the exported wav/ogg itself and the projekt sounded off. Certain VST-Plugins, including seemingly everything by DSK and some others, tune off when I export a song.
